This grain is native to the highlands of Bolivia and Peru where it is widely grown since ancient times. In places were sources of protein are limited, quinoa steps in to balance the nutrition of the population of these areas. There are many varieties of quinoa of different colors, but the most commercial varieties are white, red and black. We can offer our quinoa both organic and conventional according to our client’s needs. In all cases the quinoa is washed and the saponin removed

Baby Quinoa (Kaniwa)
Not half as known as quinoa or amaranth, Kaniwa will soon enough surprise the world. It has a much higher protein content and better taste than the previous mentioned grains. Its plant grows at even higher altitudes than quinoa and resists drought and freezing temperatures. It is grown since ancient times, though nowadays it is not as widespread.
